The Khabarovsky Kray is located in the Far East of Russia It borders the
Primorsky Kray and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast to the south, the Amurskaya Oblast and the Sakha Republic to the west, the Magadanskaya Oblast to the north and China to the south-west The Khabarovsky
Kray meets the Okhotsk and Japan Seas on its eastern coast, the total coastline (including islands) equals 3,390 km.

The capital is the city of Khabarovsk, and the distance from Khabarovsk to Moscow is 8,533 km by tram, or 6,075 km by air.
