The Decorative and Folk Arts Museum in Moscow is a treasure trove of
traditional Russian crafts and artistic heritage. The museum showcases a diverse collection of decorative arts,

More than 40 000 objects of wood, metal, glass and clay from the 14th century to the present are on display, all folk
and applied art of the peoples of the Russian Federation. Crafts from the villages of Fedoskino (lacquered boxes),
Gzhel (utensils), Mstyora (lacquered boxes), Palekh (lacquered boxes), Dulyovo (porcelain things) and Zhostovo (trays).
They include crafts made of wood and metal, lacquered miniatures.
There is a collection of samovars and cast iron pieces, religious utensils, Faberge jewelry, china, glass, pottery and toys.
