Another noteworthy estate is Kuzminki. This vast park is loaded with winter attractions. There are rides for children open on weekends and every day during
the January school holidays as well as a horse-riding school on the premises. A fully equipped children’s playground and the “Ratobor” historical club’s
attempt to recreate Russian 9th-11th century life provide further diversions. For adults there is a slot machine hall to while away some time and money or a
5-kilometer cross-country skiing track for those interested in healthier pursuits. The park is also host to over 40 species of birds, though the number
of feathered guests drops significantly in winter. Over 300 years old, Kuzminki has been a place of leisure for Muscovites throughout its history.
Nowadays, annually in July - September the Moscow Festival of flower gardens "The Culture of the Landscape Flowering of the 18th -19th centuries" is held at the Kuzminki Estate.
