This bus tour presents you the capital of the Urals in all
its beauty: quiet side streets and busy city squares with many cafes and
nightclubs to keep you busy day and night. Ekaterinburg is proud of its 17th to
19th century buildings, which display many interesting architectural styles.
You will also find numerous museums, theaters, exhibitions, and monuments; even
one to the founders of the city, Tatitchev and de Guennin. You’ll see the
birth-place of the city, the Historic Square, the dam, and the factory
equipment from the past - enormous, black, strangers in our epoch. It will take
your breath away!
Other interesting sights include the house (an ex-station)
where the Decembrists had a stop on their way to Siberia, the Novo-Tikhvinsky
convent and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the residence of the merchant
Rastorgouyev, a real palace on Voznesensky hill and the Main Mining office from
which all the Urals plants were directed.
The city changes at night. Night life comes alive as
restaurants, casinos and discos open their doors.
