KHUNNU KHUDUU ARAL GER CAMP
(Delgerkhaan sum, Khentii province)

"Khunnu Khuduu Aral" tourist camp was established in 1998 and serving foreign tourists and domestic guests.

The camp is located in the bank of lake "Avarga toson", Delgerkhaan sum, Khentii province which is distance of 240 km from Ulaanbaatar.

"Khuduu Aral" is a historical place where was located a capital city ("shar Ord") of Chinggis Khan Empire in X11 - X111 centuries. Chinggis Khan Memorial Center is located at this sacred site on the legendary Kherlen river.

A guest of "Khunnu Khuduu Aral" camp can enjoy the beauty of Mongolian steppes, visit the sacred sites and mountains mentioned in Chinggis Khan's chronicle, benefit from healing waters of Avarga spring, see the Tombs that built on the pastureland of his horses and bathe in the Avarga Toson Lake where Chinggis Khan used to rest with his sons in the summer time. Tourist will visit the mausoleums of great Khans located in the valleys of Khailant Mountain, taste the refreshing cold waters of Senkhuur spring, observe the way of nomads' life, experience horse-back and camel-back riding, take a ride on the horse carriage and enjoy traditional Mongolian barbecue and other delicious grills cooked of mutton and marmot meat. "Khunnu Khuduu Aral" camp is located in 200 meters from the Memorial center of Chinggis Khan.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT TOURIST CAMP:

• Khunnu Khuduu Aral ger camp is located in 240 km from Ulaanbaatar. It takes 4-5 hours to get camp from Ulaanbaatar: take a paved road to Baganuur (140 km) and the enhanced road through bridge across Kherlen river and you are in the beautiful scenery of Kherlen river.
• Accommodation services: House with 24 rooms and 15 Ger (yurts), Mongolian tradition dwelling, that has capacity of 200-250 guests in a term. Ger hotel is equipped with comfortable beds.
• Rest rooms and showers which are met with standard requirements
• Restaurant services: Restaurant that has total capacity of 200-250 guests is served Mongolian, European and Asian cuisines by professional chefs
• Drinking pure water from deep ground
• The other services: billiard, bar, sauna, laundry.

The camp is opened from beginning of May till end of September
